Harry Farver joined Huntington Bancshares, Incorporated in June 2010 as Director of Accounting Operations. He was promoted to Chief Auditor for Huntington in April 2013. In this role he is responsible for the company’s internal audit function, reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and interfacing with the bank’s executive leadership team on audit and control matters.
A 1993 graduate of Ashland University, Harry earned a BSBA in accounting and finance and is currently a certified public accountant in Ohio, a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Huntington, he was at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for more than 12 years, ending his tenure there as Senior Manager for the assurance practice covering the manufacturing, services, banking, insurance and mutual funds industries. He also worked for three years for the former Bank One as an Accounting Manager, performing various responsibilities including origination and review of corporate accounting policies, research and development of accounting treatment for complex transactions, advisory services in support of line-of-business and corporate initiatives, and review of SEC filings and regulatory reports.
In the community, Harry serves as a board member of Recreation Unlimited and a past board member of the Center of Vocational Alternatives in Columbus.
