Check 21: Business Accounts

Check 21 went into effect on October 28, 2004. Like most changes, it is part of an evolution. The changes will be gradual, and those organizations that are best prepared will benefit.

Check 21 opens new doors. Never before have there been so many payment options. Every day, new image technology and electronic payment services are being developed. Make the choice yours. Review your current payment applications. Consider new payment services that may offer you greater control and efficiency.

But most of all, be informed. While none of us can predict the future, we do believe that Check 21 will impact how you collect and disburse in the future. Huntington's goal is to help you prepare your organization for Check 21, and beyond! To that end, we have included additional information that will assist you in identifying the challenges and opportunities in this changing payment landscape.
