Huntington is proud to be The Official Consumer Bank and a partner of The Ohio State University

A relationship nearly 150 years in the making. And we’re looking forward to building the future together.
OSU Campus

In 1866, four years before the Ohio State University became THE Ohio State University, P.W. Huntington founded the bank that still bears his name.

Nearly 150 years later, our two Midwestern institutions have come together to give Ohio State faculty and staff access to some of the best Huntington products. With more campus ATMs, branches and a mobile iPad® app, our relationship with Ohio State will make banking even more convenient for you.

We are committed to Ohio, to The Ohio State University and to you personally, as can be seen by our long-standing relationship with Ohio State Athletics, as well as our major support of Pelotonia and the James Cancer Center.

So what does this mean for Ohio State?

  • We're providing The Ohio State University $25 million to be used for scholarships and other university investments.
  • We're providing 20 Huntington internships to Ohio State students.
  • We're lending $75 million to businesses in and around the university to support neighborhood expansion and improvement, as well as an additional $25 million investment in the University District.
  • When you do business with us, we'll give a portion of the revenue from that business back to the university. In short, simply by being Huntington customers, you're helping Ohio State.

We're proud of our deep connection to Ohio State and the rich history our two great institutions share. We look forward to our future together.
