EDI Remittance

Do you spend too much of your time processing your payables and receivables? With Huntington’s Electronic Data Interchange service, your accounting has never been so fast and easy.

EDI enables you to transact business electronically.

EDI is a low-cost, convenient electronic process that translates Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and associated payment detail into a useful format that you can post to your accounts.

The ACH payment is posted to your Huntington business checking account and you can receive the payment information in one of three ways:

  • A direct transmission to your company or a VAN processor, if you use one. This file can be sent in an ANSI x.12 or NACHA format, or if you need a proprietary format, we work with you to provide that as well.
  • You can receive EDI payment reports through Business Online, our online business access service.
  • We can fax these reports to you, as well.

You can also originate EDI transactions to pay invoices electronically.

EDI saves you time and money, while improving productivity.

We understand you have a business to run. EDI eliminates the time spent processing checks and invoices and posting them to your accounts receivable. You will also receive your payments sooner. As a result, your control over the payment process increases along with your ability to predict cash flow accurately.

If you originate EDI you can reduce your paper, printing and postage expenses and more accurately time the payment of your accounts payable.
