Helga Houston

Houston joined Huntington in September 2011, as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO). In March 2026, she transitioned out of the CRO role and currently serves as Senior Executive Advisor to Huntington CEO and Executive Leadership Team. Houston also serves as Executive Sponsor for the African American Business Resource Group (AABRG).

Houston has over 40 years of diversified banking experience in risk management, business development and client relationships. Prior to joining Huntington, Houston held executive positions with Bank of America across multiple lines of business over 20 years.

Houston earned her bachelor’s degree from Westmont College and her MBA from the University of Southern California. She serves on the Advisory Board for The Risk Institute at the Ohio State University and Board of Trustees for Westmont College and The New Albany Community Foundation.
