David Turner

David Turner serves as Alabama Region President for Huntington National Bank, bringing more than 30 years of experience in banking and financial services. He joined Huntington through the acquisition of Cadence Bank, where he most recently led the Central Alabama Division for more than a decade. In his current role, David is responsible for regional strategy, market growth, and relationship-driven banking across Alabama, with a focus on supporting businesses, clients and communities throughout the state.

David has built a strong reputation for leadership, market development, and community-focused banking. His experience spans commercial and community banking, with a proven track record of growing market presence and fostering long-term client relationships.

He is deeply engaged in civic and community leadership in Alabama. David serves on the Board of Directors for both the Birmingham Business Alliance and the Distinguished Young Women scholarship program and is a member of both the Birmingham Industrial Development Board and the Monday Morning Quarterback Club.

David earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Auburn University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama.
