Jay Turakhia

Jay Turakhia serves as Regional President for Huntington Bank in Northeast Ohio, where he leads the bank’s regional and community banking efforts across one of its largest markets.

Before joining Huntington, Jay was Greater Baltimore Market President for Truist Bank, where he oversaw commercial banking for the Maryland region. In that role, he led teams serving established and growth-oriented companies while helping drive a unified go-to-market strategy across business lines.

Prior to Truist, Jay spent several years at PNC Bank in Commercial Banking, advising leadership teams of privately held and institutional companies on capital structure, competitive positioning, and driving profitability. As a commercial banker, he was inducted into the PNC Performance Hall of Fame, an honor awarded annually to eight employees across the company.

Jay is a graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Throughout his career, he has remained deeply engaged in the communities he serves, holding board roles with the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, United Way of Central Maryland, Junior Achievement of Central Maryland, Gateway Maryland, and the Greater Baltimore Committee.

His leadership and civic engagement have earned him multiple honors, including recognition as one of Baltimore’s 40 Under 40 by the Baltimore Business Journal and the 2025 Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award, presented by the Boy Scouts of America for his commitment to opportunity, service, and community impact.
