About Jim

Jim Danneman is the Southern Ohio & Kentucky Regional President for Huntington Bank. The institution provides full-service commercial and consumer banking services, mortgage banking services, automobile financing, equipment leasing, investment management, trust services, brokerage services, insurance, and other financial products and services.

Prior to joining Huntington, Jim acted as Senior Vice President of the Commercial Banking Division of Fifth Third Bank.  Most recently, Jim was the Managing Director of two Middle Market relationship teams for the southern half of Fifth Third Bank’s Cincinnati Region, focused on business development in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Prior to his Middle Market leadership role, Jim held a variety of positions over a 27-year career at Fifth Third, including leadership roles in Private Banking, Commercial Real Estate and Operations, along with relationship management roles in Treasury Management, Government Banking and Middle Market Banking.  He also served as a Global Banking Relationship Manager at Bank of America and as Middle Market Relationship Manager and Northern Kentucky Market President at US Bank.

Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and M.B.A. from Xavier University, graduating with honors.

Jim is very active in the community and serves on many boards, including REDI Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Regional Business Committee, the Alliance for Catholic Urban Education, and the St. Charles Community of Northern Kentucky.  Jim is also a Business Support Committee Member for the St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation and serves on the Event Committee for Covington Catholic High School’s Northern Kentuckian of the Year award.
