About Joe

Joe Breen is the Region President of Huntington Bank in Indiana. Joe has been engaged in commercial lending, investment banking and sales of financial services for much of his career. Joe is currently responsible for the implementation of strategic, community and business initiatives for Indiana; and aligning those initiatives with Huntington’s purpose, mission and values.

Joe serves as the Chair of the Board and Chair of the Executive Committee of Firefly Children & Family Alliance. He also serves on the board, the Executive Committee, and leader of the Finance Committee of Junior Achievement of Central Indiana.   Joe currently serves on the board of the Central Indiana Police Foundation (formerly a board chair)  and serves on the Board of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Dept. Motorcycle Drill Team, the Indianapolis Hundred Club, and Chairs the Marquette Manor Foundation.  He is the Treasurer, and a Board Member of the Indianapolis Oldtimers Club (a charitable athletic organization).  Joe recently became the 2022 President of the Indianapolis Chapter of Legatus. Further, Joe has over twenty-five years of experience coaching various sports for Bishop Chatard High School, the Catholic Youth Organization and First Baptist Athletics. Joe currently serves on the Senior Advisors Board, the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee of Saint Mary’s Early Childhood Center and he recently completed six years on the Board of Regents for Bishop Chatard High School.

Joe graduated from Cathedral High School, earned a B.S. degree in management from Purdue University and received an M.B.A. from Butler University.
