About JohnJohn Corbin is president of Huntington’s Central Indiana Region, headquartered in Indianapolis.
Corbin joined Huntington in December 2007 as a senior banker in the commercial middle market team calling on companies with annual revenues up to $500 million. This work comprised diversified industries such as aerospace, transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, business services and distribution companies. Beginning in 2012, he served as the Central Indiana business banking market manager. In this position Corbin oversaw all aspects of the business banking segment, which included companies with annual revenues of up to $25 million. In 2016, he was named president of the Central Indiana region, overseeing all aspects of the Central Indiana market.
He has more than 20 years of diverse experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Huntington he was with Chase, and its predecessor organization Bank One, for 11 years. There he served in a number of roles including retail management and business banking. Corbin received a B.A. in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School at Furman University.
Corbin has actively served in his community through participation in numerous local organizations: director for Wheeler Mission, board member of Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Child Advocates advisory board member, board member of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, board member of Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP), INHP Homeowner Development & Single Family Lending Committee, Member-Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center Development Board and member of the Lifepoint Christian Church.
