Peyton Jones

Peyton Jones is Regional President for Huntington Bank and oversees all business segments for Huntington in the East & Central Texas region. His expertise, particularly in commercial real estate and middle market lending, has been honed throughout his nearly 30-year career. As a seventh generation Texan and native Houstonian, Peyton possesses profound knowledge of large and small markets across the state, which he leverages to develop tailored banking solutions for clients.

Throughout his career, he has been part of three growing institutions—Redstone Bank, Green Bank, and Veritex Community Bank—each of which was successfully merged into the next, ultimately becoming part of Huntington Bank. His responsibilities prior to the Huntington partnership were as Head of Commercial Real Estate Lending and Builder Finance, as well as Houston Market President. Peyton has continued with each transition, leading the integration and growth that followed.

A proud Stephen F. Austin State University graduate and former Lumberjack quarterback and team captain, Peyton majored in Finance. He later earned his MBA at the McCombs School of Business (University of Texas).

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and can often be found hiking/skiing in the mountains or on the golf course. Peyton and his wife serve on multiple charitable boards and committees together including Star of Hope, Camp For All, and Redeemer’s House.
