About Sue
Sue E. Zazon is president of Huntington’s Central Ohio Region, which is headquartered in Columbus.Zazon joined Huntington in 2016 following the merger of FirstMerit into the company. Prior to the merger, she was the FirstMerit Columbus Region president for ten years with responsibility for growing the client base in retail banking, business banking, commercial banking and the private client group. Zazon served on FirstMerit’s bank board as a member of the management committee. Prior to FirstMerit, she held a number of positions at KeyBank in Central Ohio. In 2001, she became president of the Central Ohio District and during her 14-year career at Key, she held a number of positions including leading its commercial banking team.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and International Business from Miami University. She is a graduate of the executive management program at Case Western Reserve University.
Zazon is treasurer and past president for the YMCA of Central Ohio, current Young President’s Organization Gold board chair, past member of the board of trustees for the Ohio State University East Hospital, and has served as a leader for several United Way campaigns. She and her husband reside in northwest Columbus and have six children.
