Trent Holland

Trent Holland is president of Huntington’s North and South Carolina Region. In this role, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership to market teams and driving growth in business and community relationships throughout North and South Carolina.

Trent has more than 18 years of banking and financial services experience. A lifelong resident of the Carolinas, he has spent his entire banking career serving customers and communities throughout the region. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Managing Director of Middle Market Banking in South Carolina for Huntington, overseeing the middle market banking team across the state. 

Before joining Huntington, Trent led the South Carolina middle market team for Truist Financial Corporation. Prior to that, he held roles in corporate banking, syndicated finance and commercial banking for BB&T.

Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and completed executive leadership professional education through Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. An active member of the community, he serves on the Legislative Committee of the South Carolina Bankers Association, the Council of Advisors of South Carolina Manufacturers and Commerce and the Presidential Council of the Charleston Southern University Board of Visitors. He is also a member of the Charleston CFO Council and an Ambassador for the SC Ports Authority.
