Speaker series enlightens and inspires business leaders of tomorrow
Huntington Bank’s Business Entrepreneurship Strategies and Training (B.E.S.T.) program includes a speaker series, featuring community business leaders who engage youth on topics like skills needed to be successful in business, failing forward, technology’s career opportunities, and women in business.
Highlighted speakers included Donald Dennis, community developer manager at Huntington, who spoke about his life experience and shared with students a powerful message on, “it’s not where you start, but where you end up.” We also featured master curator and owner of Posh Teatime, Ella Williams, who discussed her entrepreneurial journey while providing a fun, unique teatime experience for students to learn about etiquette.
Through this inspirational series, we aim to educate and broaden students’ knowledge of career opportunities and aspirations, teach career readiness skills, provide role models with stories of success, and energize the next generation of business leaders to build their own bright future.
