How do I pay for a foreign currency order?
You must have a Huntington account to order foreign currency. When you place your order, we will deduct the U.S. dollar equivalent of the order, plus the $15 fee from your Huntington checking or savings account. Credit cards cannot be used for payment.
How are exchange rates established?
Foreign currency exchange rates are set each morning based on current market values and are valid for the duration of the day. For specific exchange rates, please contact your local Huntington branch.
Can I bring foreign currency into a branch to exchange for U.S. dollars?
Yes, Huntington customers can exchange foreign currency at any Huntington branch for a $15 fee per order. It can take approximately seven to 10 business days for your deposit account to be credited with the foreign currency redemption amount. Please note, no coins will be accepted.
Can I order foreign currency online?
At this time, Huntington customers are only able to order and pick up foreign currency in person at a branch.
