To ensure proper receipt of incoming domestic wire transfers, please provide those sending you wires with Huntington's Wire Transfer ABA routing number, 0440-0002-4. For incoming international wire transfers, please provide Huntington's SWIFT address HUNTUS33. Instruct them to also include your new eleven-digit Huntington account number and exact account name on all incoming wire instructions. Huntington uses one Correspondent Bank for receipt of U.S. Dollar wire payments from international locations: Citibank - New York SWIFT - CITIUS33.

How wire fees are assessed depends on the selection of OUR or BEN for charges in the SWIFT transfer instructions.

• If BEN is selected, the fees are deducted from the amount of the wire and the fees are paid by the beneficiary. The beneficiary will receive the Total Amount of the Wire sent MINUS any fees that are assessed by the beneficiary’s bank (and intermediary bank if applicable).
• If OUR is selected, the sender covers all intermediary and beneficiary bank charges and the beneficiary receives the Total Amount of the Wire.

If no Intermediary Bank is designated, the wire will be routed through Huntington Bank’s preferred Intermediary. If the intermediary bank is specified, it will be routed via the instructions provided by the client. Fees may apply in both instances.

Huntington considers any wire transfer sent outside of the United States to be an international wire transfer, regardless of the currency (USD or FX). Wires sent in USD may be converted to the local currency of the destination country unless the customer is placed on the “Do Not Convert” list.

Huntington cannot guarantee that wires can be recalled. To submit a request to attempt to recall a wire, clients should contact their Account Officer or visit a local branch. Please have all wire details available.
