What is Google Pay?

Google Pay is a digital wallet on your Android device, securely storing your credit and debit card information, allowing you to pay for goods and services online or in person directly through your Android devices.

As of June 4, 2024, the U.S. version of the Google Pay app is no longer available for use. Google Pay users will no longer be able to make peer-to-peer payments or add money to Google Pay balances. However, you can still make purchases online, tap-to-pay in stores, manage your payment methods and transfer Google Pay funds to your bank account, all through Google Wallet™.

What is Google Wallet?

Google Wallet is a digital wallet that allows you to securely store your credit and debit cards, tickets, passes, keys and IDs. All forms of payment, passes, tickets or other items you added to Google Pay will remain in Google Wallet.
