In January, your Veritex Bank accounts and services will move to Huntington Bank. You’ll continue to receive the trusted, people-first service you rely on, now supported by Huntington Bank’s expanded resources.

Transition timeline

Mid-December 2025

  • You’ll receive details by mail about the transition of your deposit and loan accounts.

Early January 2026

  • You’ll receive details by mail about your digital banking transition.

Friday, January 16, 2026

  • Veritex Bank branches close at their usual time.
  • Access to Veritex Bank online and mobile banking ends.
  • You will no longer be able to make ATM deposits using your Veritex Bank debit card.
  • Final Veritex Bank account statements through this date will be mailed.

Saturday, January 17 – Monday, January 19, 2026

  • Veritex Bank branches remain closed while we complete the transition.
  • Digital banking services will be unavailable through the weekend.

Monday, January 19, 2026

  • Activate your new Huntington Bank Debit Mastercard and begin using it on Monday, January 19 with no fees for transactions at Huntington ATMs. Continue to use your current PIN.

    NOTE: Your Veritex Bank debit card will no longer be active as of 3:00 a.m. ET on Monday, January 19.

  • Update your card information if you have a debit card stored in a digital wallet or use it for automatic payments like utilities, memberships and online purchases.

    NOTE: Some accounts that previously had a Veritex Bank debit card will receive an ATM card from Huntington Bank. If you receive a Huntington Bank ATM card, you will not need to activate it. You will be able to use it starting Monday, January 19 to check your balance or withdraw cash with no fees for transactions at Huntington ATMs.

  • Your Veritex Bank deposit and loan accounts move to Huntington Bank.
  • Veritex Bank branches reopen as Huntington Bank branches with regular business hours.

In January 2026, your Veritex Bank accounts and services will transition to Huntington Bank. You’ll continue to be supported by a dedicated team of local bankers, and you’ll gain new opportunities and access to innovative products, digital tools, and financial expertise at Huntington Bank.

Branches and ATMs

No. You will continue working with the same team you know and trust.

Yes. You now have access to Huntington Bank branches and ATMs across the U.S. Find your nearest location.

Veritex Bank branches are now operating as Huntington Bank branches. You can continue visiting your familiar locations, as well as any Huntington Bank branch, for in-person banking and support.

Digital Banking and Debit Cards

Yes. Access to Veritex Bank online and mobile banking will end on Friday, January 16, 2026. Huntington Online Banking and the Huntington Mobile Banking app will be available beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026. You’ll have the opportunity to set up your new username and password a few weeks prior to the January 20 transition. You’ll receive step-by-step instructions by mail and email ahead of the transition to help you log in and get started.

If you have a Veritex Bank debit card, you will receive a new Huntington Debit Mastercard® or Huntington Bank ATM card before January 20, 2026. Begin using your new card on January 19, with your current PIN. If your Veritex Bank debit card is stored in a digital wallet or used for recurring payments, you’ll need to update your card information.

Note: If you receive an ATM card, it is because, at Huntington Bank, savings accounts and money market accounts are not eligible to be the primary or sole account associated with a debit card. Huntington Bank debit cards must be linked to a checking account.

Account Numbers and Checks

Yes, your account numbers and routing numbers for your deposit accounts and loans have changed. New numbers were provided by mail shortly before January 20, 2026. You can also view them in Huntington Online Banking and the Huntington Mobile Banking App beginning Tuesday, January 20.

You can continue using your Veritex Bank checks until they run out. When you are ready to reorder, Huntington Bank checks are available online, by phone, or through your local Huntington Bank branch. Your first check order within three months of the transition will be free.

Loans

Your loans transitioned to Huntington Bank along with your deposit accounts on January 20, 2026. The terms and conditions of your loans remain the same. Please refer to the letter(s) sent to you with more information.
