Transition overview

Mid-December 2025

  • You’ll receive details by mail about the transition of your business deposit and loan accounts.

Early January 2026

  • You’ll receive details by mail about the transition of your digital banking services and information about your Treasury Management services, if applicable.
  • The setup and preview period begins for Huntington Business Online.

Friday, January 16, 2026

  • Veritex Bank branches close at their usual time.
  • Access to Veritex Bank online and mobile banking ends.
  • You will no longer be able to make ATM deposits using your Veritex Bank debit card.
  • Final Veritex Bank account statements through this date will be mailed.

Saturday, January 17 – Monday, January 19, 2026

  • Veritex Bank branches remain closed while we complete the transition.
  • Digital banking services will be unavailable through the weekend.
  • Beginning Monday, January 19, start using your new Huntington Bank debit or ATM card.

Tuesday, January 20, 2026

  • Your Veritex Bank business deposit and loan accounts move to Huntington Bank.
  • Veritex Bank branches reopen as Huntington Bank branches with regular business hours.
  • You can access your new accounts through Huntington Bank’s online and mobile banking services.
  • Begin using your new Huntington Bank business debit or ATM card and your new Huntington Bank business credit card or commercial card. Then securely dispose of your Veritex Bank cards and update your card information in your digital wallet and on other apps or sites as needed.

In January 2026, your Veritex Bank business accounts and services will transition to Huntington Bank. You’ll continue to be supported by a dedicated team of local bankers, and you’ll gain new opportunities and access to innovative products, digital tools, and financial expertise at Huntington Bank.

Branches and ATMs

There are no planned changes to your points of contact. Continue working with your local bankers for the service and support you need.

Begin using your Huntington Bank debit or ATM card on Monday, January 19, 2026. Upon opening on Tuesday, January 20, you’ll have access to every Huntington Bank branch and ATM. Find your nearest location.

Veritex Bank branches will close at their usual time on Friday, January 16, 2026, and reopen as Huntington Bank branches on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Digital banking and debit cards

Yes. Access to Veritex Bank online and mobile banking will end on Friday, January 16, 2026. Huntington Bank’s online and mobile banking services will be available beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026. You’ll receive step-by-step instructions by mail and email ahead of the transition to help you log in and get started.

If your online service is transitioning to Huntington Online Banking, you’ll have the opportunity to set up your new username and password a few weeks before the January 20 transition. If your online service is transitioning to Huntington Business Online, look for information about the setup and preview period that begins in early January.

If you have a Veritex Bank business debit card, you will receive a new Huntington Business Debit Mastercard® or Huntington Bank ATM card before January 20. Begin using it on January 19, 2026, with your current PIN. If your Veritex debit card is stored in a digital wallet or used for recurring payments, you’ll need to update your card information.

Note: If you receive an ATM card, it is because, at Huntington Bank, savings accounts and money market accounts are not eligible to be the primary or sole account associated with a debit card. Huntington Bank debit cards must be linked to a checking account.

Account numbers and checks

Yes, your account numbers and routing numbers for your deposit accounts and loans will be changing. We’ll provide you with new numbers by mail shortly before January 20, 2026. You’ll also be able to view them in Huntington Online Banking and the Huntington Mobile Banking App beginning Tuesday, January 20.

You can continue using your Veritex Bank checks until they run out. Beginning January 20, 2026, you can reorder checks when you need them, online, by phone, or at your local Huntington Bank branch. Your first check order within three months of the transition will be free.

Loans

The terms and conditions of your loans will not change. Loans will transition along with your deposit accounts on January 20, 2026. You will have a new address for all loan payments, which will be included on your first Huntington Bank loan statement after the transition. Please refer to the letter(s) sent to you with more information about the transition of these accounts.
