About Your Neighborhood
Milwaukee is the headquarters of Huntington's Wisconsin region. Huntington has a long and distinguished history of supporting programs throughout Midwest communities that are designed to enrich the community and create an environment where our children can grow and thrive. Huntington provides support in a variety of areas including economic development, health care, housing, financial education and the arts.
Huntington is proud to be a catalyst for positive change in Wisconsin. The leadership and the colleagues at the bank take this role seriously. We support affordable housing and financial literacy, and work to improve the lives of those most vulnerable in our communities.
We believe in doing the right thing
Huntington Bank was excited to partner with Junior Achievement (JA), the nation’s largest organization dedicated to educating students from kindergarten through high school about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy, and helping prepare them to become better consumers, employees and leaders. Bank volunteers guided a group of 4th-6th graders through JA Biztown, a financial simulation where they worked as a business unit to take out a loan and learned how to operate their business and successfully repay their loan. The Huntington volunteers offered skills and knowledge that added great value to the students’ prior classroom experience.
Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp. (WWBIC)
Huntington Bank is proud to support the mission of the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp. (WWBIC), a leading, innovative statewide economic development corporation that has been “Putting Dreams to Work” since 1987. Through the support of Huntington Bank and others, WWBIC opens doors of business opportunity for women, people of color and individuals of low wealth by providing necessary resources and tools such as quality financial and business education and responsible financial products. In addition to financial support, Huntington Bank is committed to sharing its bank expertise by teaching business and entrepreneurship classes that WWBIC offers its clients on a regular basis.
