You can open a Business Checking 100 account online or by visiting any Huntington branch.

If you have questions on the documents you might need, call us at (800) 480-2001 or visit a Huntington branch to learn more, in general you'll need:

  • Valid and official forms of identification
  • Social security number or employer identification number
  • Legal document identifying the structure of the business and name of the business
  • One or more representatives from the business who is authorized to open a bank account on behalf of the company

Additional documents may be required before your business deposit account can be opened. The list provided here may change as applicable state and federal regulations change.

Not every employee or partner of a business is authorized to do banking on behalf of the business. To open an account, you'll need an authorized representative to handle the paperwork with the bank.

You can also deposit up to $2,500 in cash each month at no charge2. No, Business Checking 100 is not an interest-bearing account. Huntington offers one business checking account that earns interest: Unlimited Plus Business Checking.

Reverse Positive Pay is a treasury management tool from Huntington that helps to provide the detection of fraudulent, altered, or counterfeit checks through a daily report of presented items (excluding checks cashed at a Huntington branch) added to Huntington's online banking platform for you to review. Each day, you'll review the checks and let us know if they should be paid, returned, or corrected. All items without a decision will be paid once the decision period ends.

Once the 120-day free trial of Reverse Positive Pay ends, the tool costs $8 per month.

Business Checking 100 allows for up to 100 transactions per month and up to $2,500 of in-branch or ATM cash deposits per month at no charge. If you exceed these monthly limits:

  • $0.50 fee for each transaction over 100
  • $0.30 fee per $100 of in-branch or ATM cash deposits over $2,500

1 A transaction includes any combination of checks paid, deposit tickets, deposited checks (except those you process through a remote deposit scanner), incoming ACH debits and credits, debit card purchases, and bill payment transactions made through Huntington's Online Bill Pay service.

2 Huntington Business Checking 100 provides up to $2,500 in cash or currency deposits monthly in-branch or at an ATM at no charge for each statement cycle; $0.30 fee for each $100 thereafter.

Transfers in the exact amount of the overdraft or return can be made automatically from a Voice Business Credit Card®, up to 10% of the available credit limit and subject to the applicable cash advance APR.
