Mike Land

Mike Land serves as Regional President for Huntington Bank’s Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio region, one of the bank’s largest markets. The region is home to Huntington’s Commercial Bank headquarters in Detroit and includes more than 150 branches and 2,100 colleagues.

He has been with Huntington for 15 years and has more than 30 years of experience in banking and financial services. Prior to joining Huntington, he held senior leadership roles at Bank of America , where he led the commercial lending team.

Before becoming regional president in 2023, he led Huntington business banking and middle market teams, partnering with entrepreneurs and businesses across Michigan to support growth, expansion and long-term success.

A lifelong Southeast Michigander, Mike grew up in Monroe and has spent his entire career in the region. He maintains deep connections throughout the community and serves on the executive board of the Detroit Regional Chamber, as well as the boards of SAY Detroit, Detroit Regional Partnership, Detroit Economic Club, Invest Detroit and The Parade Company.

Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University.
