Alleviate the burden of remittance processing

Wholesale lockbox allows your customers to send payments to an address featuring your company name and lockbox number. Huntington Bank collects your mail directly from the post office and processes it quickly and accurately according to your customized lockbox instructions. Funds are then deposited directly into your Huntington checking account.

With wholesale lockbox, you have various processing options, online image viewing, and the capture and distribution of check and invoice images at selected sites. We also provide a retail lockbox at selected sites, which allows higher volume businesses who receive payments from consumers to lower their processing costs by using preprinted optical character recognition (OCR) documents and a courtesy reply envelope.

Correspondence, remittance documents and deposit information are turned over to you daily. We also can customize reports and prepare a transmission file of your payment detail, so you can update your records directly.

Stop processing payments, start serving customers

Huntington’s wholesale lockbox frees you and your staff to concentrate on running your core business and serving your customers, rather than processing payments. As an added benefit, you will strengthen your internal audit control by separating invoicing from remittance processing.

Funds are available faster, as we clear your checks through the Federal Reserve and other channels, and present them directly to selected banks and clearinghouses across the country. With four Huntington lockbox sites located in three states, we offer a broad range of processing choices.
