About Craig

Craig Wilkins is Senior Vice President and Interim Chief Human Resources Officer at Huntington Bancshares. Wilkins is responsible for all of the company's human resources functions, including HR strategy, compensation and benefits, learning and development, inclusion, recruitment, succession management, employee relations, change management, organizational effectiveness and HR information systems and analytics.

Prior to joining Huntington as Total Rewards Director in 2012, Wilkins was the Market Practice Leader with Towers Watson’s Talent & Rewards segment in the Cincinnati office where his portfolio included financial services clients. In addition to his consulting experience beginning in 2007, he has more than 30 years of corporate human resources management experience in industry-leading companies. Wilkins' extensive domestic and global corporate experience spans multiple industries, including multi-location retail/service, insurance, financial services, health care, business process outsourcing, software/technology solutions and education.

Wilkins earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Central Michigan University where he also attended graduate school. He is a member of WorldatWork, the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and other professional organizations. He is the past president of the Chain Restaurant Compensation Association, the past chair of the Building Materials Retailers' Compensation & Benefits Group; previously a member of the Conference Board's Council on Executive Compensation, and has been a guest speaker at The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business.
