Core Account Sweep Program

Earn income on uninvested cash

Brokerage accounts with Huntington Financial Advisors ("HFA") include a core sweep account that allows you to earn income on uninvested cash. It is used for settling transactions and holding credit balances. Amounts credited to your core account will be invested in the core account investment vehicle you choose and will be moved at the close of each business day. Below are the options HFA offers for core sweep accounts.

Deposit Sweep Program

To help you get the most out of every dollar every day, HFA offers a bank deposit sweep account through our affiliate, The Huntington National Bank (“Huntington Bank”) that automatically moves certain funds into a safe and interest-earning investment option. Unused cash will be moved at the close of each business day.

The sweep accounts provide a way to ensure money is not sitting idly when it could be potentially earning a higher interest rate. And best of all, your sweep account is FDIC insured for up to $250,000.
