How to activate a debit card:

Activating your debit card can be done in a few easy steps.

  1. To activate online, simply visit huntington.com and log into your account.
  2. Select the Service Center tab at the top.
  3. Underneath Debit & ATM Cards, Click Activate Card.
  4. Then enter the three-digit security code on the back of your debit card and click Activate.

Direct deposit is your ticket to Early Pay

Set up direct deposit for your Huntington checking account, and you could start receiving your pay early. When we receive your direct deposit information from your employer, we make your pay available to you, up to two days early1.

How to activate a debit card on your phone:

You can either use the Huntington Mobile Banking app on your mobile phone or call (800) 462-6260 daily, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight ET.

  1. To activate your new card using your phone, open the Huntington Mobile app and log in.
  2. Click More, then click Manage Cards and select your card.
  3. Enter the three-digit security code on the back of your card and click Activate.
