Huntington opens new community park in Detroit
To celebrate the opening of Huntington Community Park on the west side of Detroit, Huntington colleagues joined 100 individuals from the Marygrove Community Association (MCA) and other partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
MCA works to preserve and improve the conditions that make its community a viable and pleasant place to reside, work and enjoy life. Their support ensures Huntington Community Park can host various initiatives, including a community-owned and operated farmers' market and a youth entrepreneurship program.

New branch opening in Toledo’s Garfield neighborhood
Huntington held a grand opening for its new branch in Toledo’s Garfield neighborhood, a low-to moderate-income census tract. The new branch is one of only two banks in the area and will provide customers with access to ATMs and tellers, as well as personal and private bankers. The new branch will serve Garfield residents by providing better access to banking and other critical services.
Leaders in the Toledo market gave opening remarks and emphasized the importance of the branch in their community.
